I had a good friend who served in the traveling work, Don Wallace, for 40 years and he had to leave because of turning 70 years old. He told me that he gets $600 a month from the Branch. However, he saved all his money from the "green handshakes" and bought a house in cash.

The "Regular Pioneer" title has now become a total joke
by pistolpete inwe just had our co visit a few weeks ago.
apparently, he was encouraging all who could to regular pioneer, to at least try it out for a year.
because of this, we had a few people in our hall become one.. so this weekend we were on zoom service, and the sister that was just appointed was talking about it.

My wife pioneered for 24 years. Came down with Breast Cancer in 2010, missed her time quota by a 100 hours, they deleted her. She felt that although not making her time, it was still better than the average publisher, bringing in more Bible Studies than them. She had the “Pioneer Spirit “, which would be encouraging to others. The CO went to bat for her, but they ignored his advice.
What a loving Elder body and a fond memory she has. She sacrificed a career as a land surveyor. When I reminded her of this, she came over to the other side with me. I’m so glad that they were so loving, kind and understanding. What a great Organization of men JW’s have.

Could end of November be special?
by Kosonen indid you know that noah entered the ark in the end part of november and also that jesus' followers flead jerusalem around 25th of november 66ce?.
could it be that a significant group of jehovah's witnesses would begin to flee to the "wilderness" in the end of november?
revelation 12 speaks about a flight of a symbolic woman to a wilderness.

You must be smoking some really great quality herbs. Even Rutherford didn't get this crazy...Oh wait a minute, well he did build a Manson in San Deigo for King David, Moses and others to live in.

MIDNIGHT MASS on Netflix is extraordinary (horror)
by Terry ini will post a **spoiler** in a few minutes.a 7 part horror movie on netflix titled midnight mass blew me away and i thought i mightrecommend this limited series (only seven parts.first of all, there is a word never ever mentioned by anybody in this horror drama.that is for a good reason.
a very good reason.
i won't mention it either or i'd ruin part of the build-up inside the plot.suffice to say, this horror story is a very fresh take on a well-trodden path we've all been down many times (if we are fans.

Once you get through the first episode, it’s must see tv. I’m emotionally involved.
